Yes, you will need to provide your own padlock to secure your storage unit at HOLD Self Storage. We recommend using a high-quality padlock to ensure the security of your belongings, these are available in our online shop.

Is storing my belongings with HOLD secure?

Accepted Answer

We have 24/7 CCTV, access control, smoke detectors, and fireproofing.. Only you will have access to your unit and the building in access by pin only and monitored 24/7 by CCTV. Upon registration, you'll receive a unique PIN code granting you access to the site. Additionally, you'll secure your unit with your own padlock. If you need others to access your unit, they can do so with your permission and using your code.

What is the minimum storage term?

The minimum storage term is 1 month.

What notice do I have to give on my storage unit?

We require one month's notice; unused rent and deposit are refunded upon checkout.

The time needed for move-in depends on the volume of your belongings. Upon online check-in, you'll receive your PIN code and site details from reception in just 5 minutes, allowing immediate access to your unit.

We can recommend trusted removals services or even arrange transport services on your behalf to ensure a smooth move. We also offer free Zipcar or Zipvan credit through a partnership with Zipcar for new customers.
