If you cannot be contacted and fail to pay for your storage unit, we may be compelled to sell or dispose of the items inside. Any valuable items may be sold to recover lost revenue resulting from the unpaid bill.

Yes, you will need to provide your own padlock to secure your storage unit at HOLD Self Storage. We recommend using a high-quality padlock to ensure the security of your belongings. These are available in our online shop.

Some flammable items are prohibited; refer to our Store Protect Addendum for details. Perishable items are not allowed. Illegal goods are prohibited, in line with UK laws.

While we don't technically provide climate-control, our facility is fully climate-secure. This means our storage units are prefect for document, stock, and valuables preservation. Our units maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels to protect sensitive items from damage due to environmental conditions.

If you rent one of our business storage units, you don’t have to cover the business rates on that space. Instead, HOLD will handle these payments.

This depends on the facility. At HOLD, you can a run a business from one of our self storage units— using it to store stock, tools, pack orders, and manage operations. However, you can't use it as a registered business address.

All HOLD's storage units are accessible 24/7. However, to use the 24-hour access, you must first contact reception during office hours to have your PIN enabled for out-of-hours entry.
